What’s On: Mon 23rd > Sun 29th July

Due to the warm weather we’ve been having we advise that you hydrate well before and during training sessions

The training sessions are planned specifically with improvement and development at the forefront. With a busy race calendar ahead of us it would be great to see many runners in attendance.

Tuesday 24th

  • Training Night: Buckley Sports Centre. 7 pm for 7:15 pm start.
    • Intervals Group 1&2: The Bollards, 6 x 1km-  (Run Leader: Chris Callaghan & Les Coathup)
    • Improvers: Golf Course 5.8 Miles at varying paces to suit everyone –  (Run Leader: Andrew Barnard)
  • 1k to 5k and Beyond Group: 30 minutes non stop walk/jog/run plus 1 lap-  (Run Leader: Rob Mackay)

Wednesday 25th

  • Road Race: Wirral Seaside 5k, Leasowe Lighthouse, Moreton Shore, Wirral 7pm Start
  • Fell Race: The Green Green Grass Of Home, 5 Mile. Golden Lion Inn, Llangynhafal, near Denbigh 7.30pm Start

Thursday 26th

  • Training Night: Meet at Buckley Sports Centre 7pm for 7:15pm start
    • Efforts 1 : Sychdyn Loop, 5 Mile Tempo (Run Leader: Eric Campbell/Chris Callaghan)
    • Efforts 2: The Common, 5k or 5 Miles- 5 Laps/8 Laps (Run Leader: Les Coathup
    • Improvers: Wepre Park 1 Mile Warm Up & Timed Park Run Course  (Run Leader: Rob Mackay)

Saturday 28th

  • Wepre parkrun: 9 am at Wepre Park
  • 5k Handicap Session: 10:45am for an 11am Start at the Bollards (Run Leader: Les Coathup)
  • Fell Race: Gyrn Gallop, 6.6 Mile. Rhiwlas Community Centre, SY10 7JH 1pm Start
  • Fell Race: Push Up The Pincyn, 6.2 Mile. Clawddnewydd, Denbighshire, LL15 2NA 2pm Start

Sunday 29th

  • Improvers: Long Run: 6:15am, meet at Ewloe Car Auctions, Distance vary between 8 to 11 miles (Contact Jason Dwan)
  • Tinkersdale 6 to 9 Mile. Meet Tinkersdale Car Park, Hawarden. 8.45am for 9am Start (Run Leader: Eddie Davies/Les Coathup)
  • Road Race: Helena Tipping 10k, The Clubhouse, Wrexham Industrial Estate, LL13 9PH 10am Start
