The training sessions are planned specifically with improvement and development at the forefront. With a busy race calendar ahead of us it would be great to see many runners in attendance.
Tuesday 7th
- Training Night: Buckley Sports Centre. 7 pm for 7:15 pm start.
- Intervals Group 1: The Bollards, 6 x 1km- (Run Leader: Chris Callaghan/Eric Campbell)
- Intervals Group 2: The Bollards, 6 x 1km- (Run Leader: Les Coathup)
- Intervals Improvers: Pinfold Ind Estate, Pyramid Intervals – (Run Leader: Andrew Barnard)
- Intermediates:TBA- (Run Leader: Stu Jones) 7.30 to 9 Min per Mile
- Improvers: Dirty Mile/Bannel Lane at varying paces to suit everyone- (Run Leader: TBA) 9 to12 Min per Mile
Wednesday 8th
- Fell Race: Dinas Bran Hill Race (4.2 mile/1150ft Ascent)- Ysgol Dinas Bran, Llangollen- 19.15pm Start
Thursday 9th
- Training Night: Meet at Buckley Sports Centre 7pm for 7:15pm start
- Efforts 1: Wepre 9 Miler – (Run Leader: Chris Callaghan)
- Efforts 2: Sychdyn 5 Mile Tempo- (Run Leader: Eric Campbell)
- Intermediates: TBA- (Run Leader: Stu Jones) 7.30 to 9 Min per Mile
- Improvers: Sychdyn Loop at varying paces to suit everyone (Run Leader: Andrew Barnard) 9 to 12 Min per Mile
Saturday 11th
- Road Run: Run For The 96 5K, Stanley Park, Liverpool- 9.30am Start
- Training: 5K from The Tavern, Meet at The Bollards. -10.45 meet (Run Leader: Les Coathup)
Sunday 12th
- Road Race; Run Through- Tatton Park 10K- 9am Start
- Training: Tinkersdale 9 or 6 Mile- 8.45am for 9am Start (Run Leader: Eddie Davies)
- Training: Cross Country, Northop College of Horticulture
- Improvers: Long Run: 6:15am, meet at Ewloe Car Auctions, Distance vary between 8 to 18 miles- Note: Distances have increased (Contact Jason Dwan)
